The European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA)
The European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA) was founded in 1980. Since then, its objectives have been to stimulate research, promote education, and train anaesthesiologists in Regional Anaesthesia, Pain Therapy, POCUS and Peri-operative care, in Europe and beyond.
Its audience reaches 25,000 specialists including more than 8,000 voting members. Membership grows by 10% per year on average, with the Society gathering 15,000 followers on each social media platform: Facebook and Twitter.
In addition to its famous Annual Congress, ESRA presents various activities onsite, different European cities holding several accredited cadaver workshops, and the World Day with >10,000 participants and >1 Million impressions on social media. ESRA also offers accredited virtual activities like free webinars and newsletters as well as an e-congress, educational content through its Academy and two diplomas.
